This paper emphasizes the observation of SERS spectra of imidazole/LiCl in methanol solution at a silver electrode and a qualitative explaination of the relationship between HERS spectra and molecular vibrational modes, and the relationship between SERS spectrum in aqueous and that in nonaqueous system.
