摘要: Twokindsofpolypeptidesweretetheredontothesurfaceofpolypropylenemicroporousmembrane(PPMM)througharingopeningpolymerizationofL-glutamateN-carboxyanhydrideinitiatedbyaminogroupswhichwereintroducedbyammoniaplasmaand-aminopropyltriethanoxysilanetreatments.X-rayphotoelectronspectroscopy(XPS),attenuatedtotalreflectanceFouriertransforminfraredspectroscopy(FT-IR/ATR),scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),togetherwithwatercontactanglemeasurementswereusedtocharacterizethemodifiedmembranes.XPSanalysesandFT-IR/ATRspectrademonstratedthatpolypeptidesareactuallygraftedontothemembranesurface.Thewettabilityofthemembranesurfaceincreasesatfirstandthendecreaseswiththeincreaseingraftingdegreesofpolypeptide.PlateletadhesionandmurinemacrophageattachmentexperimentsrevealanenhancedhemocompatibilityforthepolypeptidemodifiedPPMMs.Alltheseresultsgiveevidencethatpolypeptidegraftingcansimultaneouslyimprovethehemocompatibilityaswellasreservethehydrophobicityforthemembrane,whichwillprovideapotentialapproachtoimprovetheperformanceofpolypropylenehollowfibermicroporousmembraneusedinartificialoxygenator.
