Flotation Separation of Cobalt(Ⅱ) with Ammonium Thiocyanate-Ethyl Violet-H2O System
Abstract:
The flotation separation behavior of cobalt(Ⅱ) in ammonium thiocyanate-ethyl violet(EV)-H2O system and the conditions for the separation of cobalt(Ⅱ) from other metal ions have been inves-tigated. It showed that Co(Ⅱ) can be separated almost quantitatively from Ni(Ⅱ)、Fe(Ⅲ)、Mn(Ⅱ) and Al(Ⅲ) by adding 0.80 mL of 0.1 mol/L thiocyanate and 3.00 mL of 1×10-3 mol/L ethyl violet at pH=1.0~3.0.
