Synthesis and Antitumor Activity of Glycyrrhetic Acid Derivatives
Abstract:
Six new glycyrrhetic acid derivatives were synthesized from the reaction of di(2-chloroethyl)aminophosohonyl dichloride(4) with methyl glycyrrhetinate(1), methyl-11-deoxy glycyrrhetinate(2), and 3-U-30-dioxy-12-ene oleanane(3), respectively. Their structures were confirmed by MS, 1H NMR and elemental analysis. The preliminary antitumor activity tests against EAC cells both in vitro and in rovo showed that the new compounds especially Ⅰa and Ⅰb exhibited a good antifumor activity in comparison with the nitrogen mustard.
