摘要: Reaction of (NH₄)₂Ce(NO₃)₆ first with NaO^tBu in a 1:6 molar ratio in THF, then with an equivalent of 2-bis(salicylidieneamino)methylphenol (H₃salmp) affords the (salmp)₂Ce₂(O)Na₄(O^tBu)₄(THF)4·2C₆H₆ complex. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=16.5218(14), b=23.992(2), c=21.9454(18) Å, β=97.470(1)°, V=8625.1(12) Å³, Z=4, M_r=1811.96, D_c=1.395 g/cm³, μ=1.126 mm^-1, F(000)=3736,S=1.061, R=0.0405 and wR=0.0932 (I>2σ(I)).
