Fading Mechanism of Cationic Dyes on Silk

Cyclovoltametric results showed that there exist charge transfer complexes (CTC) consisted of cationic dyes,amino acids and molecular oxygen which possess more positive re-duction potentials or higher peak currents than dyes.Irradiating the CTCS at their λ_max^CTC reveals that it is the amino acids of the silk that accelerate the light fading of the dyes.
