A series of oxymethylene-linked polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene multiblock copolymer were synthesized by condensing CH₂Cl₂, with poly (ethylene glycol)(PEG), poly(propylene glycol) and telechelic dihydroxy-polystyrene(THPS) in the presene of KOH power. The multiblock copolymers exhibit good emulsifying properties and good phase transfer catalystic properties in Williamson reaction.
