Improved Direct Extraction Method for Preparation of Neodymium Naphthenate

An improved direct extraction method for preparation of neodymium naphthenate with NaOH instead of NH₄OH was proposed. In comparison with original method, the improved method has many advantages such as fast reaction rate' easy monitoring and operation as well as absence of irritative smell. The product obtained therewith can be used for formulation of diene stereospecific polymerization catalyst with good catalytic property.
