Some Schiff base complexes: KZnLAc, K₂CoL(Ac)₂·H₂O, KCuLAc·H₂O, KFeLCl₂·3H₂O, KNi₂LCl₃·2H₂O, KCd₂L(NO₃)₃·H₂O, where H₂L=L-alanine-o-vaniline Schiff base, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, infrared spectrum, electronic spectrum, thermal analysis and ESR spectrum measurements. Properties of KHL and the complexes in scavenging O₂^.- have been investigated.
