The spectra and spectral parameters of calcium aluminophosphate glass doped with Nd³⁺ions were studied.The absorption, excitation and emission spectra have been measured at room temperature.By using Judd-Ofelt theory the oscillator strengths,Ω_λpa-rameter, radiative transition probability, radiative lifetimes and fluorescent branching ratio of Nd³⁺ ions have been calculated.
