Kaman Sp6Ctta of Layer Structure Complexes [n-C_nH_2n+1NH₃]₂ZnBr₄

The title complexes with n=7~12,16 have been studied by Raman spectroscopy.The assignments of the main bands have been made.The halogens in the anion layer influ-ence indirectly on the internal vibrations of R-NH₃⁺ ions in the cation layer.The C-H stretching, CH₂ bending,C-C stretching and NH₃ rocking vibrations as well as LAM are sensitive to the effect of halogens.They present obvious differences in frequency value, rela-tive intensity ratio and splitting pattern.The structure of the cation layer closely interrelatesto the structure of anion layer.
