Odentation of Nitration on Dodecylbenzene

It was found by gas chramatography that nitration of n-dedecylbenzene in mixed acid of HNO₃-H₂SO₄ or HNO₃-H₃PP₄ gave a mixture of mononitrated products containing 60% of p-isomer.It was found by NMR measurement that the mixture of mononitratedproducts from indtistrial dodecylbenzene contained 80% of p-isomer.
