XPS STUDIES ON RARE EARTH CHLORIDE COMPLEXES WITH OXIDIZED GLUTATHIONE

The preparation and XPS characters of rare earth chloride complexes with oxidized glutathione(GSSG) have been studied.The results indicate that all the oxygen atoms in GSSG are coordinated and the conformation change of the ligand is very little in the complexes. The BE peaks of 3d_5/2 and 3d_3/2 of lanthanide ions in the complexes show the satellite peaks.The mechanism,intensity and shift of the satellite peaks are discussed.
