Synthesis of An Infrared Laser Sensitive Photoinitiator and Its Application in Photopolymerization

A novel cationic dye-borate complex has been synthesized and used for infrared laser-induced photopolymerization. The result showed that the photoinitiator could initiate the polymerization of trihy-droxymethylpropane triacrylate in 23.4% conversion under IR laser irradiation.
