The solubilities of YCl₃-D,L-U-Phenyl-T-alanine(phe)-H₂O ternary system at 25℃ were investigated using a semimicro phase equilibrium method and the refractive indices of the saturated solutions were determined. The results indicated that there are two new complexes formed in this system at 25℃, namely, Y(Phe)Cl₃·3H₂O and Y(Phe)₂Cl₃·6H₂O, both are incongreunt in water.
