Synthesis and Herbicidal Activity of cis-3-(2-Chloro-3,3,3-trifluoro-propenyl)-2,2-Dimethylcyclopropyl Formyl Thiourea Derivatives

Five novel cis-3-(2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropyl formyl thiourea derivatives(4a~4e) have been synthesized. Their structures are characterized by ¹H NMR, IR and elemental analysis. The preliminary herbicidal tests indicate the compound 4a shows a better inhibitory activity to broad leaf plant, 4d and 4e to monoctyledon plant, respectively.
