Synthesis of Carboxaldehyde Hydrazone Derivatives Containing 1H-1,2,4-triazole and Thiazole

A series of new carboxaldehyde thiosemicarbazones was synthesized by the condensation reaction of 2-phenyl-1,2,3-triazol-4-carboxaldehyde with thiosemicarbazide, the product reacted with five substituted α-bromoacetophenone or α-bromo-α-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl) acetophenone subsequently in EtOH under refluxing to afford a series of carboxaldehyde hydrazone derivatives.Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, ¹H NMR, and MS spectra.The biological test results show that most of these compounds have no antiviral and fungicidal activity.
