The Synthesis of Bichalcone Rhuschalcone Ⅰ

Rhuschalcone Ⅰ was adopted to two synthetic fragments,compound 8 and compound 10,then the two fragments were combined together.Rhuschalcone Ⅰ were first synthesized by selective methylation,iodination,methoxymethylation,aldol condensation,Ullmann reaction,deprotection from m-dihydroxybenzene and p-hydroxybenzaldehyde.The chemical structures of the key intermediate and the final target product were verified by ¹H NMR,¹³C NMR and ESI-MS.
