A New and Simple Method to Prepare Egg-box Like Nanostructure

Nanostructured egg-box was obtained through placing an air pressure on polystyrene(PS) nano film using an anodic aluminum oxide(AAO) membrane as the template.The surface morphology of PS film was studied by means of atomic force microscopy(AFM).The results showed that air pressure affected the morphology of PS film.There is an optimal pressure to achieve egg-box with a maximal density about 9 per μm².The depth of the egg-box like nanostructure is about 15 nm.The density of egg-box decreases with the increase or decrease the pressure.
