SYNTHESIS OF A NEW CHIRAL PHOSPHINE FROM DSORBITOL

A new chiral phosphine compound:1,4:3,6-dianhydro-2-O-p-toluene sulfonyl-5-deoxy-5-diphenylphosphino-L-iditol was synthesized using D-sorbitol as starting material,and characterized by elemental analysis,¹H NMR,³¹P NMR,and MS.
