The polyacetylated(4,6-dimethylpyrimidin-2-yl)1-thioglycopyrano-sides(5-8) were obtained in high yields with stereoselectivity by phase-transfercatalyzed synthesis,and their structures were confirmed by elemental analysisand IR,¹H-NMR spectral data.
