STUDY ON COMBLIKE POLYMER ELECTROLYTE

New comblike polymers (CP) have been synthesized by reacting monomethyl ether of polyethylene glycol (PEGME) with poly (methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic anhydride) (MA) and endcapping the residual carboxylic acid with methanol.Butanone was selected as a solvent for the esterification reaction in order to obtain a completely soluble product.They were characterized by IR,¹³C NMR and elemental analysis.
