A novel taxol analog with 5/7/6/4 skeleton, taxayuntin 13-[N-benzoyl-(2'R, 3'S)-3'-phenylisoserinate](8) was semisynthesized with an ED₅₀ of 11.0 μg/ml in cytotoxicity assay against KB cell line.
