The synthesis and characterization of the previously unknown P₂W₁₇(NbO₂)O₆₁^7-,a new composition containing one Nb^vO₂ peroxide group,was described,O₂^2- of the molecule was detected by I^-/S₂O₃^2- titration.the structure of the anion prepared was characterized by elementel analysis,IR,UV and ³¹P-NMR spectra.
