An efficient and convenient approach to synthesize of ethyl arylglyoxylates by solvent-free grinding was described. Eight ethyl arylglyoxylates had been synthesized by this method, this method provided several advantages such as little pollution, high yield,good selectivity, and simple workup procedure, their structures were confirmed by IR, ¹HNMR.
