Abstract:
Compared with three-dimensional zeolites, two-dimensional zeolites possess the more open skeleton structure, larger specific surface area and more exposed acid sites, resulting in special advantages in bulky molecule catalysis or diffusion-limited catalysis. Through diverse direct synthesis methods or postprocessing methods, pore species, pore size and pore distribution of two-dimensional zeolites and derived materials can be adjusted to be suited for various catalysis processes. Here, we summarize the recent progress of two-dimensional zeolites including syntheses and applications.

Abstract:
The important role of physical chemistry teaching in professional training of undergraduate students in chemistry majors is discussed. The significance, necessity, documental basis for establishing this detailed suggestion for teaching contents and teaching requirements, and the principles for using this suggestion are explained. This suggestion is set according to the outcome-based teaching strategy with clear statements of the requirements of knowledge, abilities and quality of physical chemistry teaching. This suggestion can provide guidance on the teaching reform and innovation, the construction of teaching resources, the compilation of textbooks and the assessment of teaching effectiveness for physical chemistry course at present and in future.

Abstract:
News interpretation teaching method is practiced in chemistry and society course. Firstly, the real events or stories are selected and the chemical knowledge envolved in them are found out. Secondly, the teachers explain the chemical knowledge. Thirdly, the students do some literature research to find similar events and discuss those events from the view of chemistry.

Abstract:
The application of a teaching idea named "teaching 1, exercise 2 and examination 3" in the university chemistry course is very meaningful. On the basis of the properties of computational chemistry course and our teaching practices, we introduce some practices and methods on how to carry out the "teaching 1, exercise 2 and examination 3" teaching mode in the construction of application-oriented computational chemistry course as well as the practices of computational chemistry teaching from the viewpoints of course construction, teaching content, teaching mode, exercise mode and examination mode.

Abstract:
General chemistry is one of the compulsory courses for students majoring in materials, energy and environmental science in universities. Students can systematically learn basic chemical knowledge, which can help students learn the related professional courses. According to the teaching practice for general chemistry in recent years, we analyze the problems in the teaching practice, and give some suggestions on training students' innovative ability, constantly updating the teaching contents, combining theory teaching and laboratory teaching, and so forth.

Abstract:
The problem-solving strategy is a student-centered teaching mode. It can stimulate students' interest and conscious activity. Combined with the teaching status in agricultural universities and the characterization of physical chemistry course, the novel strategy is applied in the physical chemistry teaching. It is implemented by process design, preparation, practices and evaluation. Our practice indicates that such teaching method can achieve a very good teaching and learning outcome.

Abstract:
Bilingual teaching for graduate students is the basic requirement for the internationlization process of graduate education. Aimed at current problems in bilingual teaching, we proposed a new model for bilingual teaching of graduate students, i.e. a bilingual teaching model between platform and bench. Using the course of bioinorganic chemistry as an example, we explored the methods for applying the new model between platform and bench. The practice showed that the bilingual teaching model between platform and bench solved the gap problem between theory and practice in graduate education, which can not only improve the quality of scientific research for graduate students, but also enhance the research level for the teachers.

Abstract:
Newly discovered reagents and reactions in the 20th century profoundly boosted the development in organic synthesis and some of them have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Besides carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen, other elements in the periodic table are also involved in these reagents and reactions. This paper focused on these elements in organic synthesis, especially those that have received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Boron, phosphorus, lithium, magnesium, aluminum and palladium are discussed in this paper.

Abstract:
The use of solar energy through titanium dioxide, one of the most promising semiconductor photocatalyst, is a possible solution to energy shortage and environmental pollution. In this paper, anatase carbon- incorporated TiO2 microspheres are prepared by a facile flame thermal approach, which is annealing-free and almost no waste and simple. The photocatalytic hydrogen yield of the as-prepared TiO2 sample is tested by gas chromatograph under Xe lamp irradiation. Through this experiment, students can learn photocatalytic mechanism, the synthesis and characterization of semiconductor photocatalyst as well as know a little about solar energy, hydrogen energy and environmental awareness.

Abstract:
The antibody and multienzyme loaded gold nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized. Also, their chemiluminescence properties on paper-based chip were studied. The experimental contents covered the field of materials chemistry, instrumental analysis, inorganic synthesis and colloidal chemistry. What's more, the experiment can be developed for further immunoassay of biomarker detection. The content of this experiment can be used as an instrumental analysis comprehensive experiment for the junior college students.

Abstract:
In the 1980s, interaction between gold atoms in gold(I) species was discovered, which is afterwards named "aurophilicity". Based on in-depth researches conducted on these compounds, chemists are able to explain the reason for formation, the interacting mechanism and the theoretical foundation of them. This article reviews on the discovery of "aurophilicity", its historical development with typical examples, and its fresh applications in branches of physics and chemistry.

This manuscript introducing "Cooperative Effect" starts from the fundamental physical chemistry principles, followed by the analysis of the mathematical models and the potential applications in combination with case studies from biochemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, enzymology, and supermolecular chemistry. We hope that the review can provide some help for the current fundamental education and research on route.
