Diosgenyl α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside (1) and Diosgenyl α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-xylopyranoside (2) were shown to be fascinating "facial amphiphiles" by conformational analysis based on NOE-MD method.
