The reaction between 3-substituted-4-hydroxy-2H-1,2-benzothiazine 1,1-dioxides and phenyl isocyanate in the presence of different equivalents of strong base NaH has been studied.The structures of new derivatives were characterized by ¹H NMR.IR.elementary analysis and FeCl₃ test.
