SYNTHESIS AND MAGNETISM OF μ-OXAMIDO COPPER (Ⅱ)-LANTHANIDE (Ⅲ) HETEROBINUCLEAR COMPLEXES

Four new μ-oxamido heterobinuclear complexes of Cu^Ⅱ-Ln^Ⅲ (Ln:Y, Pr, Ho, Gd) were synthesized and characterized. The magnetic susceptibility measurements (4~300 K) of the Cu^Ⅱ-Gd^Ⅲ complex indicate a weak ferromagnetic interaction between the two metal ions, with the exchange integral J_Cu-Gd=2.03 cm^-1.
