BrCF₂CF₂CH=CHCH₂X(x=Cl,OAc,OH) reacted smoothly with alkynes in the presence of BrCo(dmgh)₂Py/Zn,giving 4,4,5,5-tetrafluorocyclopentene derivatives in moderate yields.
