Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Some Diorganotin Complexes of N-(3, 5-Dibromosalicylidene)-α-amino Acid and their Diphenyltin Dichloride Adducts

The title complexes, R'₂Sn (3,5-Br₂-2-OC₆H₂CH=NCHRCOO), and their diphenyltin dichloride adduct, R'₂Sn(3,5-Br₂-2-OC₆H₂CH=NCHRCOO)·SnPh₂Cl₂, were synthesized and char-acterized by elemental analysis, IR, ¹H and ¹³C NMR and X-ray single crystal diffraction. The structural features of the compounds were described.
