Effect of Supports on Surface Oxygen Species of Pd Catalyst

Surface oxygen species of Pd catalysts on different supports were investigated by O₂-TPD-MS, TPR techniques. It was found that as a support. TiO₂ showed better desorption and regeneration ability of surface oxygen than Al₂O₃ and CeO₂. The reducibility of Pd catalyst was found to be in cerrespondence with its surface oxygen departure.
