The alkyl-molybdenum compounds were synthesized via reactions of tricar-bonylpentamethyldisilanyicyclopentadienyl molybdenum anion saIt with alkyl halide(ethyl-chloroacetate,benzyl chloride,ethyliodide,1,4-diiodobutane).The hexamethyltrisiloxyl-bridged-bis(tricarbonylcyclopentadienyl molybdenum anion salt)was treated with glacial acetic acid and followed reacted with ferric sulfate to produce the oxidative coupling molybd-num-molybdenum dinuclear compound.HexamethyItrisiloxyl-bridged bis(tricarbonyl-cyclopentadienyliodo-molybdenum)compound was formed by cleavage of molybdenum-molybdenum bond with iodine.The structures of title compounds were characterized by ele-mental analysis,IR and ¹H NMR measurements.
