Polypyrolle/SnO₂(PPy/SnO₂) nanocomposite particles(~30 nm) was synthesized by the emulsion polymerization in the presence of (NH₄)₂S₂O₈ as oxidant.PPy/SnO₂/cellulose acetate(PPy/SnO₂/CA) nanocomposite film was prepared with cellulose acetate as film former and acetone as solvent.The crystal structure,surface morphology,absorption spectra and the thermic stability of the products were investigated by TG,XRD,TEM,SEM,AFM,FT-IR,and DRS techniques.The photocatalytic activities of the products were evaluated by the polymerization of MMA.The average diameter and mass-average molecular mass of poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) particles are 18 nm and 1.42×10⁵,respectively.
