SUBSTITUENT EFFECT ON UV AND IR SPECTRA OF INDOLYLCHALCONES

The substituent effect on the UV and IR spectral properties of indolylchalcones has been studied. A linear Correlation between substituent constants σ and λ_max in UV and v_c-o in IR has been observed.
