STUDY ON THE SOLID COMPLEXES OF DIVALENT COBALT, NICKEL, COPPER AND ZINC WITH ALKYLPHOSPHONIC ACID MONOESTER

The solid complexes were formed in the extraction of divalent metals (Co,Ni, Cu, Zn) from their nitrate solutions by 2-ethylhexyl phosphonic acid mono (2-ethylhexyl) ester (HEH(EH)P). These complexes have been examined by elemental analysis, magnetic moment measurement and thermal analysis. The infrared spectra have been investigated for HEH(EH)P-M(Ⅱ)(M=Co,Ni,Cu,Zn). The structures of the complexes have been elucidated.
