Lanthanide complexes with bisbenzoylacetone-ethylenedimine(L) have been synthesized for the first timc. These compounds have the general formula Ln₂(L)₃(NO₃)₆·2H₂O, where Ln=La, Ce,Pr,Nd, Sm,Gd, Dy, Er, On the basis of UV, IR, HNMR, TG-DTA and also from molar conductance measurements the possible structure of the complexes has been proposed.
