In this paper a simple, sensitive method for the determination of eu-ropium in samarium and gadolinium oxides using a graphite tube lined with tantalum foil is described. The effects of hydrochloric acid concentration and samarium and gadolinium matrix are discussed.The method can be used directly for the sample analysis without predissociation of matrix.
