Synthesis and Biological Activities of N-Aryl-N'(6-chloropyridine-3-yl)methylthiourea

Fourteen N-aryl N'-(6 chloropyridine-3-yl)methylthioureas were prepared, their compositions and structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, and ¹H NMR measurements. The plant growth activating effects on cucumber, rice and insecticidal activities on Musca domestica have been tested preliminarily.
