Synthesis of Novel DAR Yellow Couplers

Two novel DAR yellow couplers in which there is cyclic acylphenylhydrazine as the development accelerating group, and 6-aminobenzimidazole or phenylthioltriogenazole as the adsorption group were synthesized, and the yield was 60.8% and 48.2% respectively. The structures were confirmed by IR, ¹H NMR, MS and elemental analysis. In practical application, the photosensitivity was increased but the fog was not increased.
