PHOTOINDUCED S_RN1 REACTIONS OF ARYL HALIDES WITH CARBAZOLYL NITROGEN ANION

The photoinduced reactions of aryl halides with carbazolyl nitrogen anion, in dimethyl sulfoxide, yield the corresponding N-arylated products. These reactions are suggested in terms of the S_RNl mechaism of nucleophilic substitution.
