Hydrothermal Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Two Dimensional Pb(Ⅱ) Complex Based on 2-(2-Carboxyphenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline

  • Acoordination polymer, [PbL2]n (1) (HL=2-(2-carboxyphenyl)-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IRspectrum, elemental analysis and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a=1.34585(9) nm, b=0.70943(5) nm, c=3.2655(2) nm, β=99.6260(10)°, V=3.0740(4) nm3, Z=4, C40H22N8O4Pb, Mr=885.85, Dc=1.914 g·cm-3, μ(Mo )=5.551 mm-1, F(000)=1728, GOOF=1.038, the final R=0.0270 and wR=0.0581 for 5067 observed reflections (I>2σ(I)). Structural analysis shows that the complex 1 presents a two dimensional layer structure. Thermal stability and luminescent property were also investigated. CCDC: 900402.
