Ideological and Political Education Practice of the Comprehensive Applied Chemistry Laboratory for Emerging Engineering Education

To meet the requirements of emerging engineering education, the practice of its concept organically fused with ideological and political education has been implemented in the comprehensive applied chemistry laboratory. The departure between professional education and ideological and political education could be avoided with the improvement of textbooks, course teaching, and platform construction. Based on the previous results and practice, some specific ideas were proposed, including the construction of supporting textbooks, online and offline teaching integration, building an intramural research and engineering platform, and expanding the extramural practice platform. By fully integrating ideological and political education into teaching activities, a new education system featuring integrating ideological and political education was established. It can serve to advance applied talent training and provides valuable insights for innovating ideological and political education in other laboratory-based courses.
