The finger clip oximeter has become one of the popular products among home health equipment. This paper analyzes the working principle of finger clip oximeter, the structure of the device, and goes further to explain several controversial topics. The aim is to help readers enrich their scientific knowledge while learning to explicate phenomena with a scientific perspective.
