Writing a Textbook that Can Keep up with the Times: Postscript for Basic Organic Chemistry (3rd and 4th Editions)

This article provides an overview of the experiences acquired during the writing process of Basic Organic Chemistry (3rd and 4th Editions), with a focus on the principles underlying certain chapters. Moreover, the importance of synchronous developments between textbook construction and the subject is demonstrated.
