Innovating the Basic Organic Chemistry Experiment: Using the Synthesis of Isoamyl Acetate as an Example

Using the synthesis of isoamyl acetate as an example, we will introduce an innovation of the basic experimental organic chemistry teaching adopted in our university. The experimental design will encourage students to consider the “problem” as a clue and analyze the processes and steps of experiments based on questions, improving the students’ thinking and research abilities.
