In the era of increasing advanced science and technology, it is one of the important tasks for the teaching practice of Analytical Chemistry 2 to explore how to cultivate top-notch innovative talents with both professional competence and moral integrity. Currently, the classic teaching content of Analytical Chemistry 2 is considered to lack Chinese elements, have loose connections between theoretical knowledge and practice, and to operate outside the forefront of the discipline’s development. To address these issues, we have been enriching teaching contents and polishing our teaching ability by integrating ideological and political cases, social hotspot cases, and scientific cutting-edge progress into the classic teaching contents, promoting the dual education functions of natural science and ideological and political education in Analytical Chemistry 2, and exploring the way to cultivate top-notch innovative talents with both professional competence and moral integrity.
