The high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method of UV detector-fluorescence detector (UVD-FLD) connected in series for the determination of vitamin B₂ in tablets was designed as a teaching experiment. This method can overcome the limitations of common HPLC by a single detector. Through the application of this method for experimental teaching, students could not only master the basic theory and operation of HPLC, but also understand the principles and functions of UVD and FLD. Furthermore, it also improved the undergraduate students' experimental skill and comprehension.
