绳结艺术在中国文化中占据举足轻重的地位。用一根绳线能编出众多形制精巧的中国结,既承载了中华民族五千年的历史、文化、信仰,也体现了中国人的智慧。与绳结艺术类似,化学周期表中有限的元素通过化学键合构造出纷繁复杂、千变万化的分子世界。我们将绳结艺术与化学结构融合,创作出系列形制独特的“分子结构中国结”。并借此开展“结绳探构”科普活动,弘扬中华民族传统文化,向大众展示化学结构之美,让参与者在亲手编结的过程中感受化学键合丰富的创造性。
