The Ugly-Duckling Story of Beryllium

As one of alkali metal elements, beryllium has attracted much attention because of its unique nature. With an anthropomorphic tone, the article briefly introduces the abnormal chemical properties of beryllium and its applications in alloys, medical treatments, gemstones and other fields in recent years.
